Zephyr Walls Part 3 - Flying Tiger War Room Mural

On this project, I was asked to make World War II Flying Tiger coming out of the sky for a new conference room they were making. I drew up a scaled sketch adding an enemy plane that was just shot down and a B-29 bomber dropping hats.

Since the walls needed to be painted, I used a sky blue color for the mural area and painted the other 3 walls in a large camo pattern like the Flying Tiger airplane.

Then I got started by painting the clouds first and then the planes...

This wall was textured also, so making the small face was tricky...

Here is the finished project....

The enemy plane being shot down has a logo of one of Zephyr's competiters on one wing...

Here is the bomber which is dropping hats...

I made a fiery, warlike font for the lettering...

The pilot got some goggles in the process, as well as some damage to his cockpit....

Originally part of this wall had a little logo I made for someones office. It was actually the first one I did for them years earlier, but now it's under this new War Room mural with the walls re-configured.

Zephyr Walls, Part 2 - Brick Wall/Whiteboard mural

On this project, the client wanted a large whiteboard area with a cracked-up, brick wall with windows and a fire escape stairway next to it. So I came up with a scaled sketch that they liked, rolled out the whiteboard paint, and went to work on it...

I used latex paints for the whole project.

After I had the bricks finished, I painted an old fashioned, faded, 'ghost' mural sign for Zephyr.

And in contrast, I made an old-school, "faux" spray painted, grafitti Zephyr tag over it with brushes.

This is the large whiteboard area that is used for meetings.

This is the far right edge of the whiteboard which I added at the end of the project.

And here's where I signed it, and you can see the knockdown texture.
